Ashruf El-Dinary is Senior Vice President of Engineering, Digital Platforms for Xperi.

Ashruf oversees the HD Radio engineering teams, manages the certification and quality control processes, and also represents HD Radio technology standards at ITU and international regulatory discussions. He has spent over 20 years working on digital radio programs and has earned several patents on innovative digital radio solutions. Prior to his work on digital broadcasting, Ashruf developed science instruments in support of space research programs and launched solutions on several satellites.

Ashruf earned his Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, both in electrical engineering concentrating on communications and signal processing technology.
