John Passmore is the Director of Streaming and On-Demand Audio Architecture at New York Public Radio. He has two decades of experience as a studio and touring musician and has been a film archivist and time-based media conservator for museums, archives and cultural institutions worldwide. He has previously worked on developing the PBCore metadata standard for audiovisual content. He has a master’s degree in moving image archiving and preservation from New York University.
