Bio
David Layer joined NAB in 1995 and has been very active in the radio technology and standards setting area. His principal responsibilities include serving as a project manager for technology projects conducted by PILOT (formerly NAB Labs). He also chairs the RadioDNS Steering Board and is the NAB representative to the RDS Forum; he is also vice-chair of the North American Broadcasters Association Radio Committee, a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers.
